How to participate in an IDO and KYC

With several new community members joining us recently, some changes to our platform and raise model, and several IDOs fast approaching, we wanted to remind you all how to participate in an IDO on CoreStarter. You will now need to be staking to participate in Round 1 (Allocation) and Round 2 (Community), so first we will briefly touch on that, then explain how to participate.
So as you can read in our previous article here, we have updated our raise system after reviewing our first 6 IDOs! We will now conduct a 3 round raise, with Round 1 being for our users who qualify for Tier 1–6, Round 2 being for all users who have been staking 500 $CSTR for at least 5days, and Round 3 (FCFS) which is open to all users who have KYC’d on CoreStarter! We had plenty of feedback from our community and felt it was important to reward those users who are staking. In this guide, we will start with where to buy $CSTR, where to stake $CSTR to access IDOs, and finally how to register, KYC, and participate in an IDO.
Purchasing $CSTR
The first step is to make sure you purchase or swap for CoreStarter on Gate.io and Raydium using USDT. For Gate, you will need to KYC to use the platform. Raydium is a Decentralised Exchange so you only need to connect your wallet to swap. CoreStarter is currently trading at $0.03143 with a market cap of under $1m — with some solid IDOs coming, and our NFT marketplace which allows users to purchase using $CSTR, will not hold this price for long.
Staking $CSTR
The next step to participating in an IDO is to stake your $CSTR in our platform at sit.corestarter.com. All you need to do is connect your wallet, head to Stake, and follow the prompts. You will need a small amount of $SOL in your wallet for transaction fees.
Register & KYC
The next step to participating in our IDOs is to make sure you register for the IDO and complete KYC on our platform. You only ever need to KYC once, but you will be unable to participate in any raises until you do. If you are from China or the USA, you will be unable to participate in our sales.
First, you need to click on “Launchpad” at the top of the screen, this will take you through to the next screen. Then you need to click on “Register” which will take you through to a “Terms & Conditions” screen where you need to accept. Then you are taken to a registration screen where you need to fill in some details, your Solana wallet is automatically filled. For Solana projects, you only need to register basic information. If it is a project built on another chain, we will need to collect a secondary wallet address for token distribution. Once you click on “save”, you will be taken back to the main screen, and a green window saying “success” will pop up.
To KYC, you need to follow the same steps as registration, but instead of clicking on “Register” you will click on “Apply for KYC”. This will take you to a screen where you need to upload documents. As we mentioned earlier, you only need to KYC on CoreStarter once. Please check your email provided for confirmation on passing or failing KYC. It is important to make sure that photos and documents are clear, not cropped, and are the original image.
Once you have completed both of these steps, you are registered and able to participate in the IDO on CoreStarter!
When the sale begins, you will be able to enter the IDO the same way as we outlined above and make your purchase using USDC on the Solana network. It is very important that you do not make a “test” purchase, as you are only able to make one transaction per round in our sales. Please buy the maximum amount you intend to buy per round in one transaction to avoid disappointment. Please remember that to participate in Round 1 you need to be staking enough CSTRs for long enough to make Tiers 1–6. To participate in Round 2, you need to be staking at least 500 $CSTR for at least 5 days. Round 3 (FCFS) will be for all users who have successfully Registered/KYC’d on CoreStarter.
Thank you for your support, and good luck!
